Your mission

  • Administration, monitoring and support of our on-premises Linux server infrastructure, including GPU systems dedicated to AI workloads.
  • Operation and troubleshooting of our containerised services and maintenance of our internal scientific web applications and databases, encompassing corrections to application code.
  • Automation of infrastructure setup and configuration, and authorship of standard operating procedures ensuring reproducibility and auditability.
  • Computational support for scientists in the company, including analysis and development of software and workflows.
  • Close and continuous collaboration with our research staff: consultation on the effective use of the platforms, support in the implementation of reproducible scientific workflows, and the translation of scientific requirements into dependable technical solutions.
  • Subject to background and interest, contribution in research projects and modelling.

Your profile

  • An advanced university degree in computer science, bioinformatics, chemistry, biology or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training and professional experience.
  • A minimum of [3-5] years of experience in the administration of Linux servers in a production environment.
  • Sound knowledge of programming fundamentals with demonstrated experience in building software for users. Knowledge of Python is an advantage, together with routine use of version control.
  • Demonstrated experience with containerised deployments; familiarity with infrastructure automation and database administration is considered a significant advantage.
  • Domain knowledge in chemistry or biology, acquired through academic training, research experience or prior employment in the life sciences, is strongly preferred; genuine interest in drug discovery is a prerequisite.
  • A pronounced ability and willingness to collaborate closely with experts in medicinal chemistry, biology, assay development and proteomics, to understand their scientific requirements, and to translate them into dependable technical solutions.
  • Good communication skills and fluency in English.
