Your mission
- Synthesis of Novel Organic Compounds for Testing as Potential Active Ingredients
- Purification of reaction products (e.g., column chromatography using automated flash systems, preparative HPLC, recrystallization, etc.)
- Identification and purity determination of final substances (e.g., LC-MS, GC-MS, NMR spectroscopy, etc.)
- Detailed documentation of experiments
- Maintenance of equipment within the area of responsibility and taking over assigned tasks in the laboratory
Your profile
- Completed vocational training as a chemical laboratory technician or equivalent
- Understanding of basic organic reactions and processes
- Practical experience in an area of organic chemistry desirable (e.g., syntheses in the milligram to multigram range, inert conditions, low-temperature reactions) as well as in analytical techniques (NMR, LC-MS, GC-MS)
- Experience in purifying organic substances using conventional methods (column chromatography, preparative HPLC, recrystallization, distillation)
- Experience with laboratory equipment beneficial (microwave, H-Cube, etc.)
- Commitment and enthusiasm for solving problems that arise
- Excellent teamwork skills and willingness to learn
- Good computer skills (MS Office, ChemOffice)
- Good communication skills and good English language skills
